CCC is thrilled to explore the rich heritage of Jewish choral music through a program of psalms, liturgical music, folksongs, and dances. Leonard Bernstein's jazzy and dramatic Chichester Psalms, with organ, harp, percussion, and countertenor solist, is the centerpiece of the program, which also includes music of Rossi, Lewandowski, Janowski, Bob Applebaum, and Israeli composer Yedidyah Admon. Join us as we give voice to the teachings, the trials, and the triumphs of the Jewish experience.

As water brings life to the body, so music breathes life to the soul. In the spring, CCC presents an uplifting and eclectic collection of songs about water, intended to soothe, stimulate, and excite. Water is so central to our existence as human beings that it's no wonder countless composers have found inspiration in the cool, quenching, cleansing nature of H2O, from oceans and seas to rivers and rain. The music of Vaughan Williams, Delius, Pinkham, Whitacre, and more is featured on this concert, as well as arrangements of Deep River, Wade in the Water, and Bridge Over Troubled Water.
