The World How Wide invites us to look at our world, how we imagine ourselves in it, and reimagine what’s possible.

Works including Michael Gilbertson’s Cloud Anthem, Dan Forrest’s I thank You God for most this amazing day, Vanessa Lann’s Still Shining, and Mark Butler’s Signs of the Judgement all explore what it means to move boundlessly, to welcome others, to show gratitude, and to reconcile with one another.

Anchored by The World How Wide – a reimagining of Ralph Vaughan Williams’s iconic Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis – this program imagines a world that welcomes, that celebrates, and that seeks out diversity and belonging. We’re delighted to welcome back violinist Khelsey Zarraga and a string octet to collaborate on a work that shows us the world is broader than power.

There is a small parking lot available across the street from the church on Kenmore Avenue.

Parking

Free and plentiful street parking is available along area side streets; metered street parking is also available on Chicago Avenue. Please leave extra time for parking at this venue.

Accessibility

The sanctuary is accessible through the main building entrance on Hinman. Three accessible designated parking spots are directly in front of the entrance door. Rest rooms are accessible.
