This winter, bask in the love for one another that sustains us, against the dying light of December.

This winter’s program is a journey, following the path through freshly fallen snow. Lauridsen’s Midwinter Songs are interspersed throughout, anchoring the program. While other familiar pieces that take us on a journey, sometimes without words, into a space of reflection and peace.

Featuring works by Juhi Bansal, Meredith Monk, Benjamin Britten, and Mendelssohn, the concert progresses toward hope, peace, unity. The program ends with a work for double choir by Hieronymus Praetorius incorporating numerous Christmas carols, signaling our arrival, as we find our peace within nature's wintery landscape.
